Headed for our happily ever after...

So Phillip and I have been married for over 2 years now and it's amazing how fast the time has gone by and how much we've come to rely on each other. No we've had our share of problems just like an married couple does but overall it feels like we're still newlyweds. And some people are surprised that we've been married for as long as we have, since we're so happy with each other almost all the time. Its seems that people today get married just to be getting married, which is my theory why the divorce rate is so high. And when people ask my how we can be so happy all the time I tell them it's cause I married my soul mate, and of course they're like yeah whatever but its true, there's not a man out there better for me than Phillip and he'd be lost without me, literally.

Something to stand up for!!!

So I'm sitting at home flipping through TV channels and I've come across the Stand Up To Cancer telethon that they're showing on ABC, NBC, and CBS. Now I've seen the comercials but I've never really paid attention to them, but now that I'm watching and learning what they've come up with the CURE cancer I think 'if only I had more than just the 10 dollars that I've donated what they could do' . So if you have been touched by some who has cancer, had cancer please, please go to http://su2c.standup2cancer.org/index.php and dontate something even if it means you have to wait to go to the movies til next week or skipping Starbucks for a few days. My husband lost his mother to Colon cancer when he was 17, the doctors would've been able to save her if they had caught it only 6 months before. My sister in law lost her brother to Brain cancer, he lived his life to the fullest and loved the time he was given, and left behind his wife and beautiful daugther. All of this can now be avoided cuz they've located the type of cells that cause cancer and have almost completed a serum to CURE and PREVENT ALL types of cancer. So please help the fight and STAND UP!

Finally on the blog train and it's a long one!!!

Well I finally decided to start a blog cause I figured since I'm horrible at keeping in touch with everyone I know this might make me get more motivated. We'll see how it works. So we'll go back in time and start the fabulous (and not so fabulous) story that is my life. I was born Sabina Michelle on April 15th 1985 in Coon Rapids, Minnesota to Irene Coleman and Keith Davis who decided to give me up for adoption so that I could have the life that they thought I deserved. And that's where my family comes into the story, Carolyn and Carlton (my parents) and Mark (my awesome big brother) Ethridge. I've lived pretty much all over the country (at least that's what it feels like to me) so I don't have a "hometown" but I do have a "homestate" and that is Utah. I've moved over 20 times in my short life so you can imagine how that was growing up. I was homeschooled(yeah yeah make your jokes, I could've graduated high school at 13 so there) from the 1st grade on up. I guess you could say I had a somewhat normal childhood, so we'll revisit the later on. When I was 15 we moved from South Jordan, Utah to Sevierville, Tennessee. I lived in Sevierville for about 3 and half years when we decided to move to Nashville. But before I can explain why I need to take you back to when I was just a little girl. When I was 6 my folks discovered I had a great talent for singing and i started vocal lessons. So that became my life. And there were ups and downs along the way but I'll get into those later. The summer after I turned 15 we went to Nashville to cut my first record. And thats also the reason we moved back. So to move on. we'll talk more about my singing later. While we lived in Nashville I met Phillip. We started as friends and were kinda dating(not exclusive) so when we fell in love it was a shock to both of us. Well things didn't go as swimmingly as we had hoped and we broke up shortly after we got engaged. Then I moved back to Utah. And never really dated anyone seriously cause it just didn't feel right. Phillip and I had kept in touch cause we wanted to try and stay friends. After awhile we got to talkin about how neither of us had dated seriously since we broke up and we got to talking about the feelings we still had for each other. So in April of 2006 Phillip flew out to Utah so we could take our engagement photos. Then in May he moved to Payson so we could plan our wedding. And on July 29th 2006 we finally became husband and wife.
